Deanston 9 Years Old // PX Brandy Finish // Permutations Series 1
SPRING SALE
An exciting blend from Deanston Distillery, that started it’s life in a bourbon barrel before being finished in a 1st fill PX Brandy cask, this sweet and sherried whisky is full of flavour, with some unexpected results.
- Expect a brown sugar and dark morello cherry start to the palate.
- There is dark chocolate, less dry fruits than one might usually expect, and a juicy centre.
- This is absolutely the sort of sherry bomb we love.
- There are some dark brown sugars, but nothing raw, and a hint of vinous dark sherries to surround the palate.
- The finish is long and sweet, dominated by slightly macerated dark cherries.
